About Find My Roofer
Roofing Experience Across Sussex and Surrey
Find My Roofer provides roofing services across Sussex and Surrey, backed by around 20 years of hands-on roofing experience.
Over those 20 years, I have worked on all types of roofing projects, from individual repairs and leaking roofs through to new roofs, complete roof replacement, flat roofing, pitched roofing, garage roofs and associated roofline work.
That experience means I have dealt with a wide variety of roofing problems, property types and roofing materials.
Around 20 Years of Roofing Experience
I have spent around 20 years working with roofs and dealing with the problems that can develop over time.
During that time I have worked on a wide range of roofing projects, including:
- Roof repairs
- Emergency roof repairs
- New roofs
- Complete roof replacement
- Flat roofing
- Pitched roofing
- Garage roofs
- Roof leak detection
- Roof cleaning and moss removal
- Chimney repairs
- Leadwork and flashing
- Dry ridge and dry verge
- Fascias and soffits
- Guttering
- Roof surveys and inspections
This hands-on experience is important because roofing problems are not always as straightforward as they first appear.
A leak might be caused by a damaged tile, flashing, chimney, roof junction or another part of the roof entirely.
Experience Across Different Roof Types
Over the years I have worked on both flat and pitched roofs, as well as garage roofs and other types of roofing.
I have dealt with everything from relatively small repairs to larger roofing projects where substantial sections of a roof need to be repaired or replaced.
This means I can look at the wider picture rather than treating every roofing problem in exactly the same way.
A Practical Approach
Not every damaged roof needs replacing.
Sometimes a repair is the sensible solution.
In other cases, a roof may have deteriorated to the point where replacement is more appropriate.
My approach is to look at the actual condition of the roof, identify the problem and explain the available options.
The aim is to provide a practical solution rather than recommend unnecessary work.

From Repairs to Complete Roof Replacement
Over around 20 years, I have worked on many different types of roofing work.
This includes diagnosing leaks, repairing damaged roofs, replacing roofing materials, installing new roofs and dealing with associated components such as chimneys, flashing, ridges, verges, fascias, soffits and guttering.
The work can range from a small repair to a much larger roofing project.
Real Roofing Projects
The Find My Roofer website is being developed around genuine roofing experience and real roofing projects.
Our Roofing Projects and Case Studies section will showcase examples of work carried out across Sussex and Surrey.
As the project collection grows, it will include photographs and information showing:
- The original problem
- The type of roof
- The location
- What was found
- What work was carried out
- The materials or roofing system used
- The finished result
This gives customers the opportunity to see genuine examples of roofing work rather than relying solely on generic photographs.
Roofing Knowledge You Can Understand
If you are not familiar with roofing, it can be difficult to know whether a problem is serious or what work may actually be required.
I aim to explain roofing problems in straightforward language and help customers understand what is happening with their roof.
Whether you need a small repair, are dealing with a leak or are considering a completely new roof, you can explain the problem and we can discuss the next step.
